In the heart of Chiapas, in southern Mexico, the inhabitants of Tila have chosen to take control of their destiny by expelling the city hall and the police from their territory. Faced with the immense challenge of self-government, they are inventing new forms of collective life every day, a blend of memory, resistance, and hope. This is an immersion into a collective process inspired by the Zapatista experience, where self-government becomes more than a political organization: a human adventure, a shared responsibility, and a new way of inhabiting the land.
