Luciano, a young Achuar man, travels the banks of the Kapawi River to envision a future where tradition and innovation can coexist. As pollution threatens the waters essential to village life and a road project threatens to fragment the territory, he proposes a transition to solar-powered canoes to preserve the ecosystem and the river connection between communities. Guided by an ancestral legend about a mysterious fish that inhabits the river’s depths, Luciano becomes the bearer of a vision where the protection of nature rests on the balance between humans, spirits, and the living world.
