Torn from his mother, his culture and his land as a child, José Agustín, a Wayúu man, bears within him the traces of a silent exile. Guided by his dreams, he undertakes a journey between the visible and invisible worlds, to meet his ancestors and his own memory. Through the landscapes of dream and reality, indistinguishable from each other, the film explores the sacred link of the Wayúu with death, the earth and past generations. An inner journey where the fear of disappearing gradually gives way to the desire to find one’s roots and finally rest among one’s loved ones.
