Xavier Watso

Xavier Watso is an Abenaki from Odanak and has passionately taught high school theater for over 15 years. A content creator and verified TikToker with more than 48,000 followers, Xavier is active in both new media and more traditional outlets. He is a regular columnist for Montreal’s Métro newspaper, Currium magazine, and appears on Radio-Canada radio and television shows such as “Le journée est encore jeune,” “On va se le dire,” “Bonsoir Bonsoir,” “Il restera toujours la culture,” and “Kwe Kuei.” Xavier is also the Master of Ceremonies at the Odanak and Wôlinak pow-wows and the host of the Présence Autochtone Festival.
