Synopsis
1701. Nearly 1,300 members of different First Nations are converging on Montreal in the hope of signing what will become the historic treaty of the Great Peace of Montreal. Names have survived the passage of time: Callière, Kondiaronk… However, only one name matters to the heart of a young girl who has followed her family to Tiohtiá:ke: that of the prisoner she must free during the negotiations. Torn between her love and peace, she writes letters to her beloved and bears witness to the events that led to the conclusion of peace at Pointe-à-Callière.
