Stéphane Nepton, an urban Innu from the Mashteuiatsh community, is a dedicated creator committed to transmitting Indigenous knowledge through identity-based content that blends digital literacy and frugal innovation. As a First Nations Digital Mediator at Printemps numérique, he is also pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Design at NAD-UQAC, where his research focuses on the creation of Indigenous biographical mapping. His work explores the reinterpretation of living archives as a bridge between generations through digital creation.
Stéphane actively promotes First Nations cultures by leveraging emerging technologies to craft new narrative forms. The Mamo/Mamu workshops and lectures he leads at Printemps numérique serve as spaces for exchange, experimentation, and intergenerational transmission. In collaboration with young Indigenous leaders and Elders, these activities play a vital role in preserving and enhancing traditional knowledge.
