Vice-President of Kassiwi Media, Writer and Researcher

Abenaki Nation

A member of the Abenaki Nation of Odanak and holder of a master’s degree in administration and a bachelor’s degree in leisure, culture and tourism, Menahan worked for many years in the community, notably in social development as a project manager before moving into media production. She has been working at Kassiwi Média since 2018. She is a researcher on the majority of the production company’s projects. She has also had several writing mandates as a scriptwriter. Menahan attended professional training courses at the Institut National de l’Image et du Son (INIS) and the Société des auteurs de radio, télévision et cinéma (SARTEC) to perfect her writing, including fiction. Menahan decided to join the Kassiwi Média team because she takes her mission to heart, and it’s a way for her to contribute to the growth of her culture.
