Synopsis

After living most of her adult life in Oslo, Lena returns to the Sami community she came from but left by choice years earlier, this time as an artist in residence. Torn between modernity and tradition, contemporary art and identity, urbanity and the Great North, but above all duty and freedom, Lena falls in love with a reindeer herder, a central element of Sami culture, much to the dismay of his mother, who is concerned about the future of the family profession.

A love story that introduces us to a rich and colorful Nordic culture with breathtaking landscapes.
