Activités spéciales

The international conference Revisioning the Americas through Indigenous Cinema will bring together from twenty to thirty scholars, students, directors, producers, and other professionals working in Indigenous film and media, as well as members of local communities. Its aim is to foster a multivocal, place-based, and globally networked reflection on Indigenous cinema in its various dimensions.

The 9^th conference is organized from Queen’s University, in partnership with Terres en vues and in collaboration with the Language and Cultural Center Kanien’kehá:ka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkwa.

It will be held in Montréal and in Kahnawà:ke in the following spaces:

August 9: National Film Board of Canada, next to the Place des Festivals in Montréal

August 10: Université du Québec à Montréal, J-1450

August 11: Kanien’kehá:ka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkwa Language and Cultural Center, in Kahnawà:ke
