In the spirit of 1990s independent films, Last Stop Video Rentals follows Nick Young, a young video store employee trying to cope with a breakup while attempting to attend the premiere of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Between last-minute work calls, VHS memories, and nostalgia for a bygone era, Nick discovers that everyday moments can become grand adventures. Shot on film in a real video store, the film pays homage to the golden age of 1990s independent cinema and the video rental culture that defined a generation.
