Three young Munduruku women, living along the Tapajós River in northern Brazil, camera in hand, collect and preserve the mythology of their people. The ancestral stories reveal deep, fluid, and intertwined connections between humans and the non-human world, a holistic vision that contrasts sharply with the threats to the territory posed by intensive deforestation and the devastation wrought by mining.
