Synopsis
Mythology, beings, childhood memories and the power of nature. A film about human’s relationship to nature. When my aunt tells about the being from the woods named Háldi that lured her out in the woods as a child, she tells it with the same naturalness as you and I are sitting here. Háldi is a part of her woods – sometimes she takes the shape of a tree, or becomes a part of the moss. EADNI, which means mother, is a multi-layered visual saga that provokes thought. Focusing on Háldi, the whole story is a creation story with the hope that we will protect nature and ensure that the eternal cycle continues. The never-ending saga of the essence of life
