A sombre allegory, a cathartic film. Aila, a Mi’kmaq teen, concocts her dangerous revenge. Like an evil ogre, the Indian Affairs agent haunts the residential school, a sinister concentration camp where Mi’kmaq children face systematic abuse. Black poetry summing up the unspeakable.
