Heart of Sky, Heart of Earth

A long cosmic cycle is coming to an end and young Mayas involved in their communities in Guatemala and Mexico carry on the Amerindian cosmovision, in terms of spirituality as well as activism. On the ruins of Palenque, in Zapatista villages of Chiapas and around gold mining sites in Guatemala, at turns learning about shamanism, or struggling to save the environment. This film takes us on a splendid journey to the heart of a great civilization.
