In a remote woodland community in the dead of winter, a young Cree mother and her seven-year-old son find themselves on the run from Child Protection Services after her boyfriend never returned from hunting. At the same time, another man has gone missing. A surprising feature debut by interdisciplinary Cree artist Janine Windolph, from Saskatchewan, and co-director and co-writer Daniel Redenbach.
