Angélique's Isle

Historical fresco based on true events, the film narrates the abandonment of Angelique Mott and her husband on an inhospitable island of Lake Superior by rich merchants seeking copper. With the upcoming winter, in order to survive, Angelique will have to resort to the ancestral knowledge she had rejected by embracing Christianity.
