Synopsis

Maea, a former Samoan fighter has become a male masseuse for pregnant women. When his pregnant daughter seeks refuge in his home, fleeing a violent partner, Maea, already haunted by the spirit of a dead woman, is tormented by the idea of vengeance, just as he must take care of his daughter and child-to-be. Eros and Thanatos fight over his soul, between resentment and redemption. Selected at Panorama, 67th Berlin International Film Festival, BFI London, Stockholm and Palm film festivals.
