The famous film chronicle of Kanehsatake’s resistance to the attempt of spoliation of ancestral lands by the neighbouring municipality now has a Mohawk language version. From the fight for the defence of the land, the great classic of Aboriginal cinema now enters the struggle for the survival of the Mohawk language.
