Ioskeha and Tawiscara : The Great Game of Creation

A ritual and professional theatre act inspired by traditional Aboriginal storytelling resurfaces in the heart of Montreal in which two great heroes, two enemy twins who preside over their monumental confrontation with the creation of the world.

A contemporary Indigenous liturgy for the present time with the drum Northern Voice that will rhythm to the dramatic journey of Ioskeha and Tawiscara to their final confrontation. Humanity can now enter the scene. DJ XS7 will accompany his walk.

Concept by André Dudemaine, set design by Studio 703 (who also designed set at the place du Makusham), guided and inspired by Christine Sioui-Wawanoloath, and directed by Pierre-Paul Savoie.
