Film originally produced for the show Home Land and Security at the Render Gallery in Waterloo (2009). Throughout this piece, the artist and his father discuss the argument over Six Nations land, an issue that has been contested since the turn of the 19th century. Their conversations are highlighted by the inclusion of images of Aboriginal people from mainstream media, exemplified by Batman and “The Ghost of The Mohawk Indian” from a Sunday morning cartoon.
