SYNOPSIS
Through interviews with five Sixties Scoop survivors, this film highlights how intergenerational trauma and the separation of Indigenous children from their families, through Indian Residential Schools and the Sixties Scoop, are connected to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. In each case, reconnection with family and traditional culture and spirituality has been the way to soothe hearts and restore strength.
