Paperholic: Obsession papier

La Guilde  |  July 7 to september 11, 2022

Paperholic : Obsession papier explores the variety of possible practices when paper is the medium rather than the support. It is the first exhibition at La Guilde dedicated to this material, where the subject, medium or representation is paper. It presents the work of eleven prominent contemporary Canadian artists: Andréanne Bouchard, Clara Cousineau, Karine Demers, Sébastien Gaudette, Marie-José Gustave, Pauline Loctin, Alexia McKindsey, Stéphanie Morisette, Christine Sioui Wawanoloath, Erin Vincent, and Ute Wolff.
*In collaboration with Land InSights as part of the International First Peoples Festival.

Christine Sioui Wawanoloath

Wendat through her father and Abenaki through her mother, she was destined to draw, paint, and create digital works that fit the times. She enjoys exploring various mediums for her 3D projects: wood, plaster, metal, paper, and anything else she can transform.
