The FOFA Gallery presents the 2nd edition of Tillutarniit courtyard film festival. Screenings will be preceded by Inuit games, prizes, country food and music. A partnership with Terres en vues as part of the Montréal First Peoples Festival.
The event is organized by Isabella-Rose Weetaluktuk, an emerging Inuk curator, filmmaker and artist. This year’s program is framed around the animals that are intrinsic to life in the North and grouped into three themes: Netsiq (Seal), Tuktu (Caribou) and Inuk (Person). With stunning cinematography and enthralling
narratives set on a majestic land, films will also draw attention to current challenges that threaten the Inuit way of life.
